All candidates are assessed prior to being forwarded to clients. Candidate interviews are undertaken comprehensively and carefully by a qualified consultant, as they are an excellent way to assess a candidate, his/her communication skills, job knowledge and general commercial approach.

We do not use group interviews (although clients may prefer this at the short-list stage), as we prefer to conduct a personalised, individual interview.

Patterson Personnel uses state of the art, copyrighted, computerized testing and skills assessment procedures. Where applicable, applicants can be tested for alpha and numeric data entry speed and accuracy, literacy and grammar tests, numeracy skills and spelling (to verify language skills). Additional optional assessments in include computer simulated tests of software skills (such as Microsoft Word, Excel or Access).

In addition, psychological / psychometric testing can be made available on a case-by-case basis.

Reference checks, visa validation and qualification checks are thoroughly undertaken. Patterson Personnel has many candidates registered who speak two or more languages. This is recorded on our database and we are able to search applicants at short notice.
